When you walk in you feel like you stepped into a different world. It’s cozy and welcoming. The menu is on a tablet with an easy to understand layout and a great description of the food. The service was beyond wonderful. The server was upbeat and didn’t rush us. We had questions and she answered them. The food was delicious and flavorful. I am looking forward to going back trying something new. It is a must have while you’re in AC.

HOW IS THIS PLACE NOT PACKED TO THE DOOR!?!?! Maybe it was because it was a random Tuesday in early April. By far the best soul food I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection! No complaints whatsoever, the staff was great with their hospitality, even met the gentleman who prepared our food...the R&B music was on point (had me ready to do some karaoke), this place is a whole vibe for sure GET HERE! Disclaimer: If you dine-in expect to be served with “To-Go” plastic containers, which is highly preferred by me anyway because I felt reassured everything is safe.

Sometimes, the best discoveries are the unplanned ones, and that was certainly the case with our recent stop at this fantastic restaurant. As a party of six heading out of town, we were looking for a quick and convenient bite, but what we found was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was welcoming, and any worries about a rushed meal quickly faded away. What truly stood out, however, was the food. With six different palates at the table, it can often be a challenge to find something everyone enjoys. Yet, dish after dish arrived, and without exception, each one was met with enthusiastic praise. It's rare for an entire group to be so unanimously impressed, but every single meal was, in your own words, "amazing." This speaks volumes about the quality of the ingredients, the skill of the kitchen, and the care put into each plate. If you're ever in the area and looking for a reliable spot that will satisfy even the most discerning of diners, look no further. This unexpected stop turned into a memorable culinary experience, and we're already wishing we had more time to explore the rest of their menu. It's safe to say this will be a definite stop on any future trips through the area!

This was the best experience in Atlantic City! My family and I took a quick trip from VA to NJ. We were having a hard time finding good food to eat. The casino food was overpriced and not all that good. We stumbled upon this restaurant. Upon walking in a customer said to try the wings. We were a party of 7. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. We were immediately told what was sold out. No biggie...the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, restrooms and dining areas clean. The waitress’s were very nice and even gave my boyfriend a free slice of red velvet cake to celebrate his birthday. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for our food. That’s not long when your food is prepared when ordered. My family didn’t have one complaint about the food. I wish I would have taken pictures of all the food but I was too busy eating. The chef himself even came out and talked to us. This dining experience was the highlight of our trip! We went home broke, but had good food! Definitely going back on the next trip. Oh yeah make sure you try the whole fried wings and the mango habanero wings. I pray this establishment receives an abundance of business and remains successful!

Absolutely Delightful Restaurant!! Definitely can feel the warm welcome when you walk in.. Google list open time at 12pm on Saturday, however they opened at 1:30. We choose to wait based on previous reviews. We were so glad we did! Hostess was extremely friendly as she took our order and suggested favorites. Orders are freshly made with love, and trust me when I say true perfection takes time... The owner knows his flavors! We tried a few different entrees. Fried Shrimp was seasoned perfectly, whiting fish and lemon pepper wings were crispy and tasteful. Salmon w/sauteed shrimp over rice covered in cream garlic sauce was exquisite.. And let’s talk about the sides. The Mac and cheese was definitely mackin, the green beans were tasty, the yams and collard greens were as good as Grandmas .. Each entree was paired with a piece of cornbread, and it was nothing short of amazing. Sweet Soft and specially made.. You can definitely taste the love in this food . If and when we come back to Jersey we will definitely stop here again
